To connect the NVR to the internet, take one end of the Ethernet cable and plug it into the NVR’s Ethernet port. Take the other end of the Ethernet cable and plug it into an active modem or router. The lights next to the NVR’s Ethernet port will begin to blink green and yellow if it’s successfully transmitting data.
