Fail to Receive Email Alerts

Applies to:All Zosi systems.

Description of the phenomenon:If you have set up Email for the cameras but find that you never receive email alerts later, you may follow the below steps to make troubleshooting.

Cause 1: Email Setup is Failed

Make sure that the email test succeeded. If not, please refer toย

If email testย succeeded, please refer to the below causes.ย 

Cause 2: The Cameras can not Detect Motions Normally

Check whether there is motion icon at the corner on live view screen when you make some motions before the camera.ย

Cause 3: The Email Address Works Abnormally

  • Check whether the test email is atย Mail Trash.ย 
  • Check whether your email address blocks emails from the third party devices.ย 
  • Check whether your email address can send out and receive emails normally.ย 

Cause 4: Remote Access Failed

Check whether you can get access to the cameras when your phone uses 4G mobile data. If you failed, please refer to;

Cause 5:ย The System Firmware is not the Latest One or Has A Bug

Please kindly find out the system information of the system, refer to,

Please contact our zosi support with the system information, and you can try to upgrade the system after you get the upgrade file.
